Arterial roadways – Getting residents to work and school every day.

We conduct maintenance and rehabilitation of multi-mile, high-traffic areas for local jurisdictions, including the addition of new lanes and turn lanes. We serve as general contractors for large paving projects, managing all aspects – concrete, electrical, streetlights, traffic control, striping, etc.

Arterial Project

OLATHE ARTERIALS, 2023

  • Contracting with the City of Olathe in 2023
  • Completed Santa Fe, Renner, 135th, Pflumm, Strang Line and Black Bob arterial roads
  • Milled over 350,000 SY of pavement
  • Laid 45,000 tons of asphalt while coordinating pavement markings and signal upgrades

Mill and overlay for residential streets – Improving quality of life and home value.

Municipalities rely on us to upgrade and maintain existing infrastructure, including subdivision streets and less trafficked roads, for neighborhoods across the metropolitan Kansas City area.

Residential Project

CITY OF SHAWNEE, 2023

  • Improving 40 lanes of roadway/$6.5 million of infrastructure
  • 40,000 tons of asphalt
  • 40,000 LF of replaced curb
  • 15,000 LF of replaced sidewalk
  • Completed on an annual basis
  • Funded by Shawnee’s 3/8-cent sales tax voted on by residents

Subcontracting

We also provide subcontracting services for parking lots and access roads in new construction projects. Our teams work directly with general contractors at the building sites to ensure on-time and on-schedule results.

NEW CENTURY COMMERCE CENTER WITH BRINKMAN CONTRACTORS, 2023

  • Public infrastructure (Phase 1) new roadway for the New Century Commerce Center
  • $1.3M project
  • Project included subgrade stabilization, fine grading and asphalt paving
  • 30,000 SY of 9” cement stabilization
  • 25,000 SY of 10” asphalt paving

ARCO, 2023

  • Contracted with ARCO to build new industrial roadway for Great Plains Commerce Center development alongside associated building parking lots
  • Placed over 250,000 SF AB-3 and asphalt, including new heavy-duty industrial roadway for Building 1
  • Cement stabilization on Building 1
  • Over 135,000 SF AB-3 and asphalt for Building 2 (completion in December 2023)
  • Fine grading on Building 2
